Mt.  Calvary Preschool Sings at Care Inn of La Grange

The four-year-old classes went to Care Inn of La Grange on Dec. 15 to sing Christmas songs and to give a hand-made gift to the residents.
The residents showed their appreciation by giving the students hugs and smiles.
The three and four-year-old classes went to see the beautiful Christmas flowers at  the Janda's Nursery on Monday, Dec. 8. This certainly put everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Mt. Calvary Preschool students were entertained by professional actors and stunt men who are in the area filming episodes for Hidden Histories which is a travel adventure show.  The historical documentary program  began in September 2007 and is produced for European distribution by Global Broadcast Network of London, England.  Jody Stelzig, son of Charlene Stelzig of La Grange, along with Duke Nobles and Lynn Dale Salisbury, all three of Oklahoma, demonstrated to the students different types of stunts that they perform and talked to the students about making movies.  The students and teachers learned how different stunts were performed and the training and expertise needed for these performances.

Christmas Holidays

It's pumpkin time at Mt. Calvary Preschool! The teachers are reading about pumpkins and the students are making and coloring pumpkins. Students may decorate a pumpkin to bring to school to show their classes. On Friday, October 31 , students and teachers will wear pajamas to class and to their noon parties. Carolyn Mersiovsky is in the fall spirit as she and her four-year-old science classes decorate the entrance to the preschool with scarecrows sitting on a bale of hay. Be certain to stop by and see the handiwork of the students.

Becky Leer's two-year- old class is listening to a story about pumpkins.

Linda Templin's two-year-old class is getting ready for story time.

Georgette Bragdon is reading a Bible story to the three-year-old class.
