Assistant Director

Lori Hollek is a graduate of La Grange High School.  She is also a graduate of Texas A&M, Class of '98, where she received her BA in Biology.

Lori and her husband Justin have three children:  Grant (17), Gavin (15), and Gabby (11).  They also have three dogs and two cats.

Lori loves going to the lake with her family and friends, antiquing during the Antique Festival, having game nights with her kids, and watching her children's sports activities.  

They are active members here at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and Preschool.

Lori began teaching Science at Mt. Calvary Preschool 13 years ago.  She and Becky now teach a Motor Lab class, and she also serves as the Director.

Becky Weikel is a graduate of La Grange HIgh School.  She is also a graduate of Southwest Texas State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education.

Becky and her husband Philip have two children.  Mara is a student at Texas A&M University and Anthony is a Senior at La Grange High School.

Becky loves to read and spend as much time as she can with her family.  They especially love going to the lake with family and friends and going to football games.  Go Leps and Gig 'em Aggies!!

They are active members here at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and Preschool.

Becky taught at LGISD for 11 years before coming to Mt. Calvary Preschool to teach a PK4 class 13 years ago.  Now she and Lori teach a Motor Lab class, and she serves as the Assistant Director.

Dawn Sedlar

Leesa Kana

Dawn is a graduate of La Grange High School.  She also has an Associates Degree in Art from Blinn Jr. College and is currently working on earning a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Victoria.

Dawn has one daughter, Camryn, who is a Sophomore at Smithville High School.

Dawn enjoys spending time with her daughter, listening to live music, going to concerts, and working out.

Dawn is a member of 2nd Baptist Church here in La Grange.

Leesa and her husband Paul have been married for 33 years. They have two boys.  Zach Peter and wife Tiffany and Sam Kana and wife Desiree.  Leesa has three grandchildren:  Dylan Simek, Halie Peter, and Madelynn Peter.

Leesa enjoys making quilts, crocheting, and traveling.

Leesa serves as the morning Turtle Teacher.

Katrina Wilson

Tiffany Maxwell

Mrs. Katrina Wilson is the Caterpillar Classroom Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Texas Women's University.  

Katrina and her husband J. have a 15-year old son, Ethyn, a 13-year old daughter, Evynn, and two cats, Hunter and Bohdi.

Katrina enjoys running, weight-lifting, yard work, spending quality time with her family, and cooking with her kids.

Katrina and her family are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Tiffany is a 1999 graduate of Pearland HIgh School and a 2003 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Education.

Tiffany and her husband Cooter have been married for 14 years and have two kids.  Tyler is 11 years old and in the 6th grade, and Ellie is 9 years old and in the 4th grade.

Tiffany loves spending time with her friends and family, taking trips to the beach, and supporting her kids.  Tyler is very active in 4-H shooting sports, and Ellie participates in competition dance.

This is Tiffany's 15th year teaching.  She previously taught 2nd and 3rd grades and is now in her 8th year teaching the Fish Class here at Mt. Calvary Preschool.

Missy and her husband, Edgar, have two sons, Chase and Chans.  They also have one grandson, Stetson, and one granddaughter, Kara.

Missy enjoys coast fishing.  She especially enjoys relaxing on the beach and collecting shells with her granddaughter.

Missy is a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Plum.  

Missy assists in the Llama and Bee classes in the mornings and is an afternoon teacher in the Caterpillar room.

Linda Templin graduated from Pasadena HIgh School and attended San Jacinto Junior College and Blinn College.  

She and her husband have been married for over 37 years. They have a son and a daughter.  Their daughter is married and has two daughters.

Linda has worked at Mt. Calvary Preschool for over 20 years.  She was one of the PK2 teachers until 2019, when she moved up to teach PK3.  She is the morning Llama Class teacher. 

Linda loves to attend Aggie sporting events, do crafts, make hair bows, and sew.  

She is also a very active member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she has assisted with Vacation Bible School and Religious Education for over 20 years.

Sophia is the second oldest of five siblings.  She has two brothers, Matthew and Orlando, and two sisters, Mia and Alessandra.

Sophia graduated from La Grange in 2017.  She then entered into the Bridges to Career program, followed by the PATHS program at Texas A&M University in College Station, where she graduated in 2019 with a certification in Child Care.

She loves spending time with her family and helping with church functions and activities at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Sophie started working at Mt. Calvary the summer following her high school graduation.  She says, "I knew this was where I belonged.  The ladies at the preschool treated me like family."

Lindsey was born and raised in Houston, TX, where she was homeschooled by her mother who was a teacher.

Lindsey moved to Michigan and married her husband in 2006.  They have two boys and three girls:  Adam, Cory, Katie, Liberty, and Emma.

In 2015, they moved back to Texas to be closer to family.

Lindsey loves to sing on the Praise Team at her church, Crosspoint Church.  She also loves being a mom and spending time with her family at the beach.

Lindsey works in the kitchen and assists with the children every chance she gets!

Amber is a graduate of Hargrave High School in Huffman, TX.  She attended Blinn College.

Amber and her husband Paul have been married for 16 years.  They have two sons.  Hayden is 17 years old and a Senior at La Grange High School.  Kason is 12 years old and a 6th grader at Hermes.  Her dogs, Arlo and Waylon, are part of the family, too!

Amber loves to garden; however, what she loves most is watching her kids--whether they are playing sports or performing in theater arts productions.

Amber is the morning Bee Class teacher.

Amber is a member of Crosspoint Commuity Church.

Val graduated from La Grange High School in 2016.

Megan Galindo is also a new edition to our team!  Megan and her husband Eric have been married almost 10 years. They have two boys, Caden who is in the 3rd grade and Nick who is here at Mt. Calvary in the Fish Class.

Megan graduated from Cypress Falls High School and attended 2 years at Blinn.

Megan loves spending time with her family, doing whatever they are doing!  She enjoys reading, concerts, all sports events, whether shuffling her boys to baseball practice or attending a football game with her husband!

She is a member of Crosspoint Community Church.
