Ministries For Adults

BIBLE STUDIES

There are two Sunday morning adult Bible study classes to hear and learn the word of God, immediately after worship service.  There is also a Wednesday morning Bible study class.  Bible study classes usually last one hour.  Visitors are always welcome!

THE MEN'S CLUB

The Men's Club is organized for Christian fellowship, and for service to the congregation and the Int'l. Lutheran Laymen's League/Lutheran Hour Ministries.  The Men's Club works hard at providing needed funds for the Church and other area non-profit groups.  Membership is open to any adult male member of our church.  The Men's Club meets once a month on the third Monday evening.

THE MARY-MARTHA GUILD

The Mary-Martha Guild is an LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League) organization that supports mission outreach and personal spiritual development, and supports the work of the LWML through mite giving, Bible study, and prayer.  Members serve on the Altar Committee, Bereavement Committee, and Hospice Committee.   Membership is open to any adult female member of our church.  The MMG meets once a month on the first Monday evening.

LWR QUILTERS

The Happy Scrappers are our ladies who participate each year in the Lutheran World Relief quilt drive called Project Comfort.  A Lutheran World Relief quilt is special!  It brings warmth on a cold night, shelter from the sun on a hot day.  It becomes a bed, a room divider, a backpack to carry belongings; at times, a home. Help make a quilt, even if you can't sew!

CHEER GROUP

The Cheer Group is open to any adult member who would like to help visit, phone, or at least send a card or a note to our hospitalized or homebound members, and those in nursing homes and care centers.
